The campaign aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA so that voters using assistive technology can find information, plan their vote and contact the campaign.

What is in place

  • A skip link to main content on every page.
  • Semantic landmarks, logical heading order and descriptive link text.
  • Visible keyboard focus styles and keyboard-operable menus and forms.
  • Labelled form fields with clear error messages.
  • Text and interface colours checked for sufficient contrast.
  • Alternative text on meaningful images.
  • Reduced motion honoured for visitors who request it.

Voting accessibility

Accessible voting options, including drive-through voting at Abbotsford Exhibition Park Gate 2 and mail ballots, are administered by the City of Abbotsford. See official voter information.
